Nordic Quick System: When Our Workload Increased, We Needed to Rethink

In 2015, the foundation was laid for what is now Nordic Quick System. Today, the company develops sprockets with segments that can be rotated and replaced. They collaborate with Prosmart.

Nicklas Jadinge is one of the founders of the company, which is based in Piteå. He explains that Nordic Quick System has developed rapidly and that today they have both manufacturing and sales of their products.

– We feel that we are moving in the right direction all the time.

With Nordic Quick System, machine maintenance can be performed while both the chain and wheel body remain on the conveyor. This results in shorter maintenance downtime, increased profitability, and higher safety for personnel.

– It all really started with an idea about simplification, says Nicklas Jadinge, explaining that the goal with the patented sprocket is to become a new industry standard that streamlines the industry, even outside Sweden.

To take further steps in their development, Nordic Quick System has enlisted the help of Prosmart. Nicklas Jadinge explains that they previously worked with text and Excel documents.

– As our workload has increased, we needed to rethink. When we found Prosmart, we noticed that they have all the features we were looking for.

– We really have no prior experience working this way, and we have quite recently started running in live mode. But so far it feels like Prosmart is on their toes, which feels great, says Nicklas Jadinge.

The plan is to consolidate everything from quotation to delivery and purchasing in the same system.

– The hope is to broaden the product portfolio and get more products to market, says Nicklas Jadinge.
