WiJo Pouches appreciates Prosmart’s batch management feature

From its factory in Helsingborg, WiJo Pouches manufactures tobacco-free white snus. All development takes place on-site – from their snus powder to the machines they use. A major reason they started WiJo Pouches was that the nicotine pouch market needed a revitalisation.

“We felt that everything else looked too masculine, hard, and tough, so we felt that WiJo Pouches was needed to soften those edges and present the nicotine provider snus in a slightly more appealing way,” says Christian Wikekall, CEO of WiJo Pouches.

Proximity to the forces of nature
The founders of the company shared an interest in surfing, and this has also influenced the product development for WiJo Pouches, where the proximity to Mother Nature and her scents and flavours is reflected in the products.

Batch management was a decisive feature
“We chose Prosmart to gain better control over our inventory processes and products. Above all, it was Prosmart’s batch management feature that made us start looking beyond the standard business systems,” says Christian.

Understanding that we are a start-up
As a young and rapidly growing company, it is also important to feel that the companies WiJo Pouches collaborates with understand exactly that. It is about being responsive and adapting features as well as costs to the conditions prevailing in a start-up company, and Christian believes that Prosmart has been very good in that regard so far.

“It has been easy to get the help we have needed. Furthermore, Prosmart is also a relatively small company, so they understand the challenges a young company faces. Additionally, it is easier to reach Prosmart’s staff than to call someone who might be based in India and log a ticket for something that you might get help with after far too long. Especially if you are small,” Christian explains.
