Folkessons Snickeri has a close dialogue with Prosmart
Per-Anders Folkesson started his own joinery business for a simple reason: he enjoyed woodworking. Today, Folkessons Snickeri mainly works with establishing retail and restaurant chains, while also using Prosmart’s ERP. – Over the years, it has come to us almost exclusively working with companies and people we know well and have strong trust in, explains Per-Anders Folkesson.
The joinery company in Mjölby has, to say the least, made an exciting journey since it was founded in the early 1990s. Per-Anders Folkesson’s interest grew into Folkessons Snickeri.
– In fact, I was not particularly interested in running a business, but because I enjoyed the craft so much, it somehow became a natural choice, says Per-Anders.
The company’s focus has changed over the years. From primarily targeting private individuals, Folkessons Snickeri has instead turned to larger interior design chains. This is thanks to strong recommendations from previous projects.
– We are in a different place today than we were just a few years ago, which is incredibly rewarding. Above all, it’s the variety of projects that makes it so enjoyable.
Close dialogue
As Folkessons Snickeri has developed, the need for a business system has become clearer.
– Our challenge is to tie the entire operation together—to include the whole chain within one and the same system, explains Per-Anders Folkesson.
Since 2020, Folkessons Snickeri has been using Prosmart’s business system.
– Our previous system worked well too, but as we grew, it was no longer quite sufficient. With Prosmart, we have a close dialogue and always get quick answers. They do not only think about themselves; they show an interest in our business. We do not like answers such as that things cannot be solved, but Prosmart always has an alternative solution, says Per-Anders Folkesson, who is keen to see Folkessons Snickeri develop even further with Prosmart’s business system in the future.
– The more you work with a feature, the more ideas you get about what you’d like to do. Development breeds development.
